Description:

GPS Stone Trip Tracker is a tool designed to generate GPX files, offering various features such as displaying current GPS information including speed (both maximum and average), position, distance, elevation, and mapping capabilities. Beyond real-time tracking, the application facilitates the recording of comprehensive trip data for later review in platforms like Google Earth.

The functionality of GPS Stone extends to recording and exporting all trip data to a primary computer for geo-tagging, photo-tagging, or efficient trip management purposes.

Users can track their journey in real-time on a map or opt for a detailed view showcasing metrics like current speed, average speed, altitude, distance covered, position accuracy, and directional information.

Post-excursion analysis is simplified, allowing users to retrospectively review their travel path, duration at specific locations, and the versatility of its utility spans multiple activities including sports, cycling, driving, trekking, among others.

Moreover, GPS Stone enables users to export trips in standard GPX format facilitating exploration of journeys on platforms like Google Earth and compatible software such as Atom GPS and GeoSetter for PC, or HoudaGeo for Mac.

This application offers various functionalities including the ability to record trip details with timestamps, live map paths display, automatic restart post phone calls interruptions, tracking speed metrics (instantaneous, maximum, average), distance covered measurement, altitude details, GPS accuracy indicators and coordinates monitoring. The app also features a compass for directional guidance and allows users to manage recorded trips efficiently by providing options for deletion and renaming. Unit preferences can be customized between mph or km/h while providing enhanced control over log details and file sizes.
